West Texas Roller Dollz is a league that was formed in September 2007. We are currently recruiting! If you are interested in being a part of Roller Derby in the Lubbock area please contact Anntix @ anntix@westtexasrollerdollz.com.. NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED but it requires a little commitment and a willingness to learn how to play the sport of roller derby. We will train hard to be able to bout so please come at least give it a shot. You will be amazed at how much a part of your life derby becomes!!!

PRACTICES ARE EVERY TUESDAY, 7-9 & THURSDAYS, 7-9 AT SPORTSPLEX ON UPLAND & 82ND. Recruitment Clinics are held once a month for new skaters and referees.

The rink has skates you can use until you are able to get your own speed skates. Cost will be $6.00 per practice and we recommend you have knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, mouthguard & a helmet for your first practice. There will be some loaners, but it is first come first serve. Please show up a half an hour before practice begins to get all of your paperwork filled out and to have time to get geared up.

Come out to our bouts. Check our website and social networking sites often to find our bout schedule.

Become a volunteer.
We’re always looking for volunteers to help out at our bouts and other WTRD events. If you volunteer at one of our bouts you get in free! Send us an e-mail at wtrd@westtexasrollerdollz.com with the word “volunteer” in the subject line for more information.
