Even though the score was somewhat lopsided in Lubbock on Saturday night, both teams came out of the bout fairly happy. The West Texas Roller Dollz skated very well in front of their home fans, after a tough road interleague loss to the Denver Roller Dolls. And the young team from Albuquerque had to be happy with the experience gained for their newest skaters. For several of the Duke City skaters this was their first bout ever.

The next action for the West Texas Roller Dollz will be at home on June 6 as they host the Oklahoma Victory Dolls in a WFTDA sanctioned bout. Duke City’s next bout will be a double header as the Munecas Muertas host the Rat City All Stars, and the Doomsdames skate against the D.I.A. in the Santa Ana Star Center on May 16th in Rio Rancho, New Mexico.
