WTRD Mission Statement:

“…to provide athletic opportunities for women and recreational entertainment for the community while perpetuating the popularity of roller derby and the integrity of the league.”

The West Texas Roller Dollz came to be in September 2007 and first hit the track in October 2007. In less than a year, we have become proud members of the WFTDA (Women’s Flat Track Derby Association), and we put together a nationally ranked Travel Team.

We are always recruiting new skaters and freshmeat! NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED!  We will train anyone looking to do it derby style.  You will be amazed what a part of your life derby becomes.  If interested, come out ot one of our practices or email us at WTRD@westtexasrollerdollz.com or wtrdfreshmeat@westtexasrollerdollz.com.  New skater orientation is Sunday at 4:00 p.m. at The Sportsplex (82nd and Upland).  Orientation will cover the derby basics and set you up with everything you need to get to rollin’.  You can even skate your first time out!
