This is a donation only car wash done up right! Lubbock’s own West Texas Roller Dollz are headed to Atlanta, Georgia for the Southwest Regional Tournament set to begin September 25-27th. Like any tournament, cost are high and that is why we are needing your help. Please stop by Freebirds on the South Loop and Slide Saturday or Sunday.
West Texas Roller Dollz proudly present IT CAME FROM ROLLER DERBY. It will be an afternoon of gruesome derby fun as the ladies of WTRD creep onto the track and show Lubbock what comes from derby. Come get the fun scared into you as the Dead Dollz take on Zombies where you are sure to be on the edge of your seat all afternoon. This is sure to be a thriller of a Sunday afternoon as we see what can come from roller derby.
WTRD is a family friendly group and encourage all ages to attend. This event is open to the public. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door (children under 12 free). Tickets can be purchased at any Select-a-Seat location or by contacting any Roller Doll. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to BACA (Bikers Against Child Abuse).
The West Texas Roller Dollz are currently recruiting to fill skater, coaches, referees, and volunteer positions. WTRD offers recreational skaters the ability to attend practices without a league commitment for $6.00 per practice. For more information please contact mandy.braziel@gmail.com.
